I’ve been completely overdoing the last few months, setting up my new blog, rebranding my fitness business, not to mention looking after a 6 month old, a 3 1/2 year old, the house and my husband!
Running your own business is not easy when you’re as busy as i am (get the violins out i hear you say!), something has to give and a lot of the time its my sleep/rest time. This week has been particularly manic and as a result, i’ve felt drained/run down. So, i’ve allowed my team to pick up the slack and even though i’ve not gained any sleep time, i’ve managed to get some rest.
Rest is important, even if you don’t have time to sleep, give yourself a few minutes, a few times a day to just gather your thoughts and pull back a bit of energy!
Grab a cup of tea, leave the ironing until later (or iron as you wear if you’re me!), have a soak in the bath! If you don’t rest, your body will eventually force you to and thats not what you want to happen!
