Product Review – Multipower Protein Powder

Multipower Whey Isolate Protein – Product Review

I always struggle to eat the right kinds of foods before I work out, it’s finding the balance between portion size and energy requirements for me (and many others I’m sure)!

I was asked to review some Protein Powder, I’ve used it sporadically before and so I thought, why not? I received a huge tub through the post, along with a Protein Shaker (result, gotta love a new water bottle) and so I decided to try it out before my class that night!

I teach a lot of Cardio style classes and if I eat too late, I end up with stich half way through, eat too early and my energy levels drop, so I though this would be a perfect test for the new Protein Powder!

The tub stated that it was French Vanilla flavour and I only needed to add 150ml of water to it, so I did! If I’m honest, my first experience of the taste was not a good one, it didn’t really taste of anything to me and it almost put me off trying it again.

In terms of energy, it definitely gave me enough of a boost to get me through my class of 35 Clubbercise nuttas so I thought it deserved a second chance.

The next time I used it, I added it to a smoothie and BOOM! Match made in heaven!

The light flavour meant that it didn’t overpower my smoothies like some Protein Powders can, this also means you can add it to any flavour Smoothie for an energy boost and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing!

I throw it in a breakfast smoothie with banana, avocado, spinach and blueberries, or I have it before a class with almond milk, strawberries and blueberries, its brilliant!

So overall, Multipower Protein Powder met my needs, I wouldn’t recommend drinking it with just water (it didn’t do it for me), but if you want to perk up a smoothie, or get an energy boost on the run, then this is definitely a good choice!
